Last year....

Bay Farm Wins the Championship!

A Pie in the Face

Bay Farm 6th grader, Pablo Vessali, recently approached his fellow 6th – 8th graders to see if they would be interested in helping him raise money for St. Baldrick’s in their fight against Children’s Cancer.  Every year, he joins the battle by shaving  his head in honor of his friend, Miranda, and raises as much money as he can to donate to the cause.  This year, 6th grade teacher , Joni Reynolds, offered to take a pie in the face if Pablo could convince his friends to donate $200!  The students were beyond motivated by this challenge, and Pablo was able to raise over $850 from his Bay Farm Community, and over $2,200  in total for his favorite charity!  PE teacher, Scott Slez, and Math teacher , Alain Valois bravely added their faces to the pie fest when they heard how generous their students had been.   It was a great way to celebrate coming together for a wonderful cause.
