Back to School Night

August 24th, 7-8pm

Motherlode Camp

Our 6th grade overnight trip will be from October 11-13th. This is a fun filled 3 day, 2 night trip to the beautiful California gold country. Students will be encouraged to solve team and individual challenges. Please be sure to attend the information meeting which will be held in September. This is our 5th year and is sure to be a hit with the students and the lucky parents who come as chaperones.

Homework/Classroom Materials Policy

Our homework policy is very simple. We work on a 5 week system (usually 25 school days) Infractions occur if a students does not turn in their homework at the designated time or doesn't bring proper materials to class. If they have three misses during the 5 week period, they receive a detention. After 25 days, the chart is refreshed and everyone has a clean record.

Detention is served on Wednesday from 1:20 -1:50pm. The middle school teachers take turns hosting detention in their rooms so the location is different each week. A form is sent home with the student several days before they are to serve detention. The form is signed by the student, parent and teacher. During detention students will write a reflection which describes how they will improve their habits.
